Monitoring in place at all sites

Dendrometers and microclimate sensors are now installed at all AdaptDam study sites. Dendrometers track small changes in stem diameter, which show how trees grow and how they respond to dry spells. Microclimate sensors record conditions inside the forest stands.

Sampling is under way at the sites. Installation of the dams that will regulate ditch outflow is in the planning phase.
